RIVER GOLF LODGE RESORT

Love this place. You have to experience the "porch" to understand how special it is. The rooms are impeccable, easy access as there are no steps. Rob and Sherie are the most special hosts, they are the kindest people, attention to each detail. Sherie is an amazing cook. It will always be our go to place for our spring knitting retreat. You all should give it a try.

Such a serene place! The view of the river, the expansive deck complete with couches, grills and fireplaces, intentional shade and sun seeker locations, create the most relaxing environment. The care that went into every detail of this lodge, down to the room decor with spa robes, is evident as soon as you meet Sherie & Rob (owners/hosts). They go way above to show how much they care about the comfort and enjoyment of their guests. I'm a fan of River Golf Lodge!

We had a fabulous time at the River Golf Lodge. From the moment we arrived we were treated with hospitality. The communal porch setting is peaceful and serene. We were lucky enough to enjoy live music and fireworks during our stay. The beds were like sleeping on a cloud. We definitely had a five star stay. Everything exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend taking a trip to Raystown Lake it was an easy drive.

Rob and Sherie are amazing host. The lodge is absolutely gorgeous. The patio and outdoor kitchen is spectacular. We had such a great time. We played golf, had a great meal at the Village Tavern. We enjoyed making breakfast in the riverfront kitchen. They supplied all cookware and utensils. We loved the evenings sitting around the fire. We left there feeling great and hated to leave.

Wonderful long weekend trip! Camped in the campground. Took showers in an awesome “hippie shower” with shampoo, conditioner, body soap provided! River front view! Great hospitality from owners Sherie and Rob. Lovely tubing trip! Rob drove us up to a drive off point to tube down the river to our campsite! Lovely long weekend! Can’t wait to do it again!!!

Stayed for a long weekend. The proprietors have gone to great lengths to make sure their guests enjoy the visit. Very clean room with a comfortable bed. I was out at the East Broad Top Railroad during the days. My wife was very content to stay at the lodge the whole time. We had some very relaxing evenings sitting on the deck with a nice fire, watching the river, and the birds. Looking forward to return visits.

We stayed in the campground in our motorhome. The site was beautiful overlooking the river & the fishing was great. Sherie & Rob are fantastic hosts & the entire facility is top notch! We will definitely return.

If you want to get connected with nature, good people, and fun activities, this is the place to be. We couldn’t ask for more from the owners. Thank you for treating us like family, making us feel welcome from the get-go! My friends and I had the BEST reunion of our life in this location. Thousand Steps trail was close by. It was beautiful. We are definitely looking forward to visiting again in the future!

We camped here in July 2022. They just opened. The owners are super friendly and helpful. Beautiful community deck over the river, no traffic anywhere, only a handful of sites total so it can’t get crowded. The kids were in the river non-stop. We fished, swam, bird watched, and had a very relaxing stay. They have a single large bathroom w/shower for campers. Sites are pretty level with gravel pads. Electric hookups are well placed. Lots of shade. Before we left, we booked for next year. The lodge is GREAT too if you aren’t camping. Beautiful community outdoor kitchen, they have a Big Green Egg for smoking! The owners have put a lot of work into this place, and it shows. I almost don’t want to leave a review, to keep it a secret!

My 2 young adult sons and I stayed 7 days at River Golf Lodge. The riverfront is beautiful! My favorite was stargazing on the dock. Beautiful lodge with great vibes. Rob and Sherie are wonderful hosts. They helped us get a kayak on the water. It was much enjoyed. I loved it so much I convinced by husband to fly in for the last 2 nights of our stay. We are planning on returning next season! 😊

Sitting out on the back porch in the evenings overlooking the Juniata River with a fire built (thanks to Rob) was relaxing and reminded us that life is good! Couple the River Golf Lodge with the American Legion Country Club, you have the perfect golf get-a-way! A must stay!
